EAP Triage Assessor

The EAP Team is currently seeking a full-time qualified counsellor, to work at our head office in Southport. As an EAP Triage Assessor, you would assess clients by phone, book client appointments, send, and receive correspondence and ensure all our data systems are fully updated., As a Triage Assessor, you will be speaking to clients daily, assessing them, arranging appointments, and supporting the internal EAP team.

Our ideal candidate will have empathic and relational building skills with clients and be methodical and organised in their approach to work. Due to the busy nature of the department, multi-tasking and priority management is key and you will be supported by a fantastic team of people in delivering an excellent service to clients.

You will be the first port of call for clients, and you will need to have a calm and empathetic manner.

You will also need excellent keyboard skills to make accurate notes. Experience in dealing with incoming calls will be a definite advantage.,

• Must have completed and passed a minimum of level 4 in Counselling.


• Must have over 100 Counselling hours

• Excellent administration and computer skills, in particular the handling and the processing of client data

• Experience of working in a client administration or service delivery signposting role
