Full Job Description

ACS International Schools are recruiting an EAL and Learning Support Teacher to join the Lower School team at our Hillingdon campus.

The broad and flexible curriculum at ACS International School Hillingdon is designed to help students excel, ensuring they're ready for the next stage of their academic career. ACS International Schools have a focus on experiential learning and leadership which ensures we nurture confident, caring, well-rounded individuals who are ready for the future.

ACS Hillingdon's 11-acre campus is less than 14 miles from central London, enabling students to benefit from opportunities in both the city and countryside. Our magnificent Greater London campus has outstanding facilities, and a wealth of history, art and culture right on its doorstep.

Knowledge, skills, and experience required:

  • Bachelor's degree/Bachelor of Education

  • Demonstrates consistently high standards of personal and professional conduct

  • Fluent in English both verbal and written

  • Significant experience and willingness to integrate technology to improve teaching and learning

  • Experience of teaching in an international school is desirable but this is not essential.

  • Benefits of Teaching at ACS:
  • Recognising that time is needed to plan, collaborate and provide meaningful feedback to students, teachers at ACS teach a maximum 21 hours per week

  • Our maximum class size is a manageable maximum of 22 with most classes being smaller than that. We are a well-resourced school, enabling us to provide our students and teachers with the resources they need to learn and achieve

  • We take the professional development of our staff seriously and provide ample opportunities and resourcing to support this.

  • Start date: August 2024

Safeguarding ACS is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and as an employee of ACS you are expected to share this commitment.
