Driver

· To provide a general catering, portering and driver service to the Catering Department.

What you'll be responsible for:

· Responsible for receiving goods inwards, checking quality, quantity, and temperature, and placing into appropriate storage areas, paying due regard to the safe handling of commodities and equipment.

· Responsible for following a stock rotation system in accordance with Departmental procedure, placing commodities into appropriate storage areas.

· Responsible for processing delivery notes against orders placed recording discrepancies.

You'll learn the following whilst working at the trust:

· Following Departmental and Trust procedure for waste disposal and recycling. This to include removal of cardboard, metals, plastic and food.

· Take personal responsibility for driving vehicles safely, and with due regard to other road users, speed restrictions, pedestrians, obstructions etc if applicable.

As a member of NHS Professionals, you'll have the following benefits

· GCSE English & Maths Grade 9-4 or equivalent.

· A full car driving licence is essential.

  Shift Pattern: Monday to Sunday on rota basis


Shift Hours: Hours: Mon-Sun (5 days out of 7) 7am-3pm OR 8am-4pm.

Pay Rate: £11.45
