Full Job Description

  • Provide care and management of pets.

  • Administer medication and follow handling and safety processes.

  • Conduct meet and greets with new clients and their pets.

  • Respond promptly to client communications.

  • Handle emergency situations involving pets.

  • Participate in ongoing training, such as emergency canine first-aid.

  • Maintain clear communication with clients through documentation and summaries of care.


    • Work Schedule & Pattern:
  • Cat Visits: Typically morning start between 8:00am - 10:00am

  • Private Walks: Typically occur after cat visits from 10:00am until 15:00pm

  • We will guarantee 15 hours per week to start.

  • Bookings: Clients requests bookings when needed, we then accept and populate the schedule.

    Experience with Animals: Must have professional experience or personal experience with pets, supported by an outstanding cover letter.

  • Driving Requirements: Must have a full UK driving license (manual) and access to a vehicle. A company van is provided for those over 21 working a minimum set of hours.

  • Proximity: Must live within 7 miles of Wellingborough., High in conscientiousness and empathy.

  • Experience in a customer-facing role.

  • Flexible with scheduling


    • We are hiring for various roles, including dog walkers, groomers, house sitters, and more. This position is ideal for those looking to enhance their skills in the pet care industry and contribute to our high standards of animal welfare.

  • Ongoing training and progression - initially trained in emergency animal first-aid, dog behavior, behavior modification training and on going training.

  • Uniform, clients, equipment is all provided to you by Adored Animals. Fuel is paid for if given access to company vehicle.

  • Once trained, you will be given a company van to use during working hours ( Subject to having held driving licence for 2 or more years)

    • The work is self - employed, you will be subcontracted by Adored Animals Pet Services.

    We provide you with clients, equipment, van, fuel, create invoices, manage marketing etc. We will also help you get set up as self - employed.

    Schedules are published a week in advance, however, this can change last minute, and we have to work around clients, they do not work around you.

    Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

    Pay: £11.50-£20.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 15 - 40 per week
