Director of Care & Housing

We are looking for a new Director of Care and Housing, who will be a passionate advocate for people in our care. Someone who has the drive and determination to get the best for everyone, as well as having the experience and skills to manage large budgets and effective organisational performance as we continue on our modernisation journey.

A key member of the Directorate team, you will closely with the Chief Executive and Director colleagues to align care strategies that will sustainably deliver measurable outcomes for the community, people using Jewish Care's services and their families. This is a pivotal role where you will be overseeing our core business. You will ensure that our reputation for delivering first class services is recognised whilst leading our ambition to constantly improve and respond to the changing needs of our customers.

You will be a visible, empathetic and collaborative leader, aligned to the values and culture of a faith orientated environment or from the Jewish community directly. You will be familiar reporting to board, and Non-Executive Directors and working with a broad range of stakeholders. Working in and navigating complex regulatory environments and relationships is critical for this role.

Jewish Care also offers support and guidance to families, carers and the bereaved.
