In the role of digital marketer, you'll be involved in developing an organisation's multi-channel communication strategies and may work across several areas, or specialise in a few, depending on the size and requirements of your employer. Ensuring that the highest possible standards of advice and guidance are rigorously maintained.     Description of the Role

    The role sits under the Managing Director and is primarily responsible for the following:

  • Social media marketing - developing a distinct online presence by attracting high numbers of internet followers through social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram & Tik Tok., affiliate marketing - where a business allows other businesses (affiliates) to sell products on their website. The affiliate is paid commission for each customer brought to the website by their own marketing strategies.


  • Liaise with colleagues to ensure priorities are identified and acted upon in line with service provision and contractual requirements.


  • You will be a highly ambitious individual, who is keen to learn and progress and the ideal candidate will be a naturally positive person, can-do attitude with a passion for making a difference.

    As the holder of this role, you will be required to undertake the following tasks:

  • create and upload copy and images for the organisation's website


  • write and dispatch email marketing campaigns


  • provide accurate reports and analysis to clients and company management to demonstrate effective return on investment (ROI)


  • research new online media opportunities that may benefit the business including mobile, social media, development of blogs and forums


  • design website banners and assist with web visuals


  • communicate with clients, affiliate networks and affiliate partners


  • conduct keyword research and web statistics reporting


  • contribute to social media engagement and brand awareness campaigns


  • use web analytics software to monitor the performance of client websites and make recommendations for improvement


  • contribute to company and industry blogs and manage e-communications


  • assist with paid media, including liaising with digital advertising agencies


  • develop and integrate content marketing strategies


  • keep up to date with current digital trends


  • manage the contact database and assist with lead generation activities


  • negotiate with media suppliers to achieve the best price for clients.


  • Assist with the preparation and production of IAG brochures, leaflets, course information and other publicity materials


  • Take personal responsibility for ensuring monthly targets are met to meet contractural requirements


  • Have a strong understanding of all TNB Products including clients' problems and solutions

    Responsibilities of Role

    As the role holder you will be required to:

  • Develop and document processes and procedures to develop and grow marketing working closely with the business development team


  • Participate in group strategy conversations to help contribute to the longer-term success of the business


  • Have a flexible approach to working and be willing to 'muck-in' with your colleagues to help the business operate at its peak level all day every day


  • Represent TNB at appropriate external meetings and user groups


  • All staff are expected to:

  • Attend all internal and external meetings and training courses as required by the SMT.

  • Google Analytics, Excel ,Website management, WordPress


  • Customer relationship management (CRM) - Pipedrive & email marketing - sales active


  • Content writing

  • Search engine optimisation (SEO).


  • Ability to perform under pressure and to tight deadlines & the capacity to prioritise and work across multiple projects


  • Experience of providing IAG services to a wide range of clients in the education sector, with a flexible approach to programme changes as they occur.


  • Experience of programmes aimed at 16-24-year-olds & the hair and beauty sector.


  • Good time management skills & Adaptability - With the ability & confidence to multi-task organise & priortise workload while working independently with the ability to deliver a high volume of quality work & the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines


  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a high level of accuracy & with ability to notice patterns in data and reports


  • Self-motivated with evidence of continuing professional development and a willingness to undertake further training relevant to the role.

TNB has grown significantly over the past year and is now looking to move the company to the next level of growth and requires an individual and team player to be responsible for the digital marketing using a variety of digital marketing methods to communicate with customers and promote products and activities to both potential and existing clients including the promotion of products and services through a variety of digital channels, using the internet and mobile technology. Using push and pull marketing techniques, targeting consumers both directly and indirectly.
