Full Job Description

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to join our team to drive high quality traffic to online channels, ensuring our digital agency partners are performing to a high level in order to achieve the desired online traffic while maintaining a strong ROAS and, therefore, a profitable ecommerce P&L.,

  • Work closely with the Head of CRM and Digital Marketing to develop and execute the digital marketing strategy focusing on customer acquisition and ROAS/MOAS across the digital channels - SEO, PPC, paid social, affiliates and display. Responsible for the key KPI of traffic for the Monsoon website.

  • Own the relationships with digital agency partners to ensure all are delivering against key performance indicators.

  • Use your knowledge of online performance channels and biddable media to create a strategic media plan with the digital agency and define what kind of online marketing activity is required to drive traffic and grow sales on the channel successfully to meet commercial budgets / forecasts.

  • Manage the channels' media budget and ensure financial controls are in place to ensure the channels are spending the budget as efficiently as possible

  • With the support from the digital agency, take an analytical and evidence-led approach to planning. Work back from the sales targets to identify traffic volumes required and therefore spend to achieve.

  • With the digital agencies, identify the media mix, placements and campaigns that will be traffic drivers for the year e.g. paid search, paid social, affiliates, etc

  • Build strong relationships with Buying and Merchandising teams to ensure alignment with the product strategy and commercial success.

  • Use all the available performance data to create online performance reports that demonstrate spend, ROAS/MOAS and media performance from click to product sale

  • Champion Digital Marketing and be able to explain complex activity simply and concisely.

  • Manage the campaign calendar for the digital channels working closely with the Brand, Merchandising and Trading Teams - creating cross channel plans, ensuring alignment across all online customer touchpoints, implement and monitor activity and pull together wrap ups following the activity to share internally with senior stakeholders.

  • Provide the Creative Team with detailed briefs around the required digital assets to ensure campaigns are successful.

  • Create persuasive business plans to ensure budget commitment for digital marketing.

  • Work with the Ecommerce Trade team to ensure that SEO is considered, and best practice is used across the site.

  • Work with the store team to manage our online presence for the stores across Google/Facebook etc.

    Minimum 5 years in digital marketing experience

  • A strong interest in fashion and retail. Previous industry experience is desirable

  • Experience of managing multiple digital marketing agencies

  • Pace, energy, and passion

  • Great communicator and decision maker

  • Resilience with a natural curiosity

  • Analytics capability and strong GA experience

  • A problem navigator, solutions driven and determined to "get things done"

  • Knowledge of PPC, Paid Social, SEO, and Affiliate marketing

  • Proficient in MS applications, particularly Microsoft excel

  • Someone who is able to articulate a vision and take the team on the journey as well as inspiring internal support as required to meet shared goals

  • Commercial awareness and ability to react decisively to the market conditions

  • Excellent influencing and relationship management experience

  • Marketing Degree or equivalent would be advantageous
