Whether you are providing highly skilled image acquisition or undertaking advanced clinical tasks it is a role that makes a difference.

As a newly qualified radiographer you can be assured you will be supported and developed in your role. All newly qualified radiographers complete a preceptorship programme and are supported by the senior team, mentors and practice educators.

As well as the James Paget University Hospital (JPUH) there will be vacancies at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) and Norfolk Norwich University Trust. All NHS Trusts are based within the Norfolk and Waveney ICS.

Interviews will be held via MS teams and there will be a representative from each Trust on the panel.

We need highly motivated newly registered Radiographers that are keen to develop and be part of the future imaging workforce.

The Norfolk and Waveney (N&W) Integrated Care System (ICS) will see a rapid expansion of Imaging capacity in 2024 and 2025 due to our development of Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC). The three acute N&W hospital sites (JPUH, QEH NNUH) provide patient diagnostic services for over 1.5 million people in the county of Norfolk and beyond. The CDCs are due to open at all 3 sites across 2024 and 2025. Dedicated to outpatient pathways they will house state of the art MRI, CT, Ultrasound and projection radiology equipment., The James Paget Healthcare NHS Trust became the first Foundation Trust in Norfolk and Suffolk. You will rotate through the acute hospital into all General Modality areas including the Emergency department, in-patients, outpatients, theatres and mobiles, as well as the dedicated outpatient CDC setting that is near to the main hospital site. You will be contributing to a 24/7 roster with enhancements for duties worked out of hours that boost your salary. Shifts consist of long and short days over a 7 day period, including bank holidays, nights and weekends.
