Development Engineer Permanent

Our client is a leading independent supplier in their industry. They offer the broadest and most advanced range of products and are continuously upgrading their world class production centres. They provide DC high voltage power supplies, x-ray generators and scientific applications. They are looking for a Development Engineer to join their team., Development Engineer is a permanent position, and we are looking for engineers who have been available for an immediate start. This is a fantastic opportunity to be joining the company during a very exciting period of growth. The Development Engineer position requires you to be qualified in a relevant discipline with experience and knowledge of high voltage requirements and will also have the skills to develop power supply designs.

Key duties for the Development Engineer role will include:

- Develop and modify high voltage power conversion products.

- Design and build breadboards and prototypes to investigate/ research new design techniques.

- Accurately document designs to enable full manufacturing packages to be created.

- Assume ownership of the assigned projects from conception to completion.

  Skills, Knowledge, and Experience of Development Engineer:


- Knowledge of up-to-date components, technology a d manufacturing technique.

- Ability to keep accurate records.

- Understanding of constraints of PCB layout and mechanical packaging.

- Schematic Capture using CADSTAR desirable.

- Experience of UC design with respect to analogue control systems would be desirable.
