Despatch Operator

We have an opportunity for a Despatch Operator to join our team to ensure the timely dispatch of all orders to our customers.

Working in collaboration with the whole Production team, this role requires the ability to deliver a high standard of work on a consistent basis ensuring that all goods have correct documentation and are to the exact order requirements. Diligence is paramount for this role to ensure we achieve the exacting requirements of our growing customer base.

Suitable time management & prioritisation is essential as well as the ability to think on your feet - every day is challenging. The ability to identify solutions quickly and effectively and be client-driven is essential.

Employees daily responsibilities, include but not limited to -

· Prioritising the daily despatch list with the team.

· Product inspection checks.

· Packing products for delivery to customers.

· Strong diligence.

· Able to understand and follow clear work instructions.

· Effective communication skills, both verbal & written.

· Ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team.

· Flexible approach and able to use own initiative when required.

· Ability to work under pressure and adhere to strict delivery deadlines.

· Forklift License.

· Experience within a dispatch environment is desired.

· Preferred 1 years' experience working in Logistics.

The role is a full-time permanent position working on site with a competitive salary of £11.00 per hour. Working a 45-hour week on a day shift hour of Monday to Friday 8am to 5:30pm.
