Full Job Description

AllSaints are looking for a design admin assistant to join our team who must be agile, organised, and able to respond to varied tasks.

The Design department is the epicentre of our DNA and influences every part of our brand. We play a key role in setting the tone and direction of the brand visually, commercially and ensure that our customers receive the product they desire. You will report to the senior print and embellishment designer and will assist the womenswear design team with administrative tasks.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

  • Support the design team with a variety of organisation oriented tasks. This will mostly be within the soft wovens and print & embellishment teams, but will also at times extend to other areas of design

  • Organisation and filing. Ensuring that work spaces are kept tidy and organised and that fabrics/ samples are filed in systems that make them accessible and easy to locate

  • Online organisation of work files and presentation decks

  • Inputting information into spreadsheets and online systems (PIM.) Ensuring that these details are kept updated and accurate, and cross referencing details where needed

  • Utilise great attention to detail when updating trackers and helping with tech packs

  • Assist with the co-ordination of bulk approvals and support the senior product developer where needed

  • Keeping up to date with emails and taking detailed notes in meetings

  • Communicate effectively with suppliers and ensure instructions are clear to aid the design development process

  • Manage the process for add in styles between seasons

  • Collecting post for teams and sending out swatches/ samples etc in a timely manner

  • Setting up presentations- high level of attention to detail and ability to make presentations visually appealing with detailed information included

  • Must work well across teams- supporting many aspects of the day to day running of design and being ready to help out where needed. This includes designers from other categories and other departments such as buying

  • Preparing and logging samples and strike offs for reviews and events, including steaming and hanging. Ensure the showroom is kept organised and updated as samples arrive

  • Supporting events/ shows/ reviews and photo shoots. This includes dressing models, organising and transporting samples etc

  • Product research across market trends

    Great organisational and time management skills

  • Great attention to detail and good presentation skills

  • CAD skills: adobe photoshop, illustrator

  • Ability to move across all categories to support when needed

  • Microsoft excel, microsoft word, google sheets and slides

  • Degree BA or equivalent, with a strong interest in fashion or print
