Deputy Manager

Natures Little Leaners are currently hiring at Deputy Manager to come and join our new nursery at Hornbeam Park., Our ideal candidate will have 5+ years' experience of working in early years and leadership. Be ready to get messy with the children, while also overseeing the rooms and working alongside the manager in running the nursery. We are looking for someone who is friendly, approachable and capable of implanting innovative ideas and strategies to enhance the nursery.
The deputy manager will be there to support the manger of the nursery, and be able to take over in their place when necessary. You will be based in the office with the manager, but at times will need to be working within rooms, supporting staff and developing relationships with all children and parents.
Your responsibilities will include working to create learning environments for all ages, making rotos and registers for each room weekly, supporting staff through development and training, working within rooms to get to know the children in our care, adhering to all safeguarding policies, ensuring ratios are met throughout the nursery and taking over as the role as manager when the manager is unable to do so.
