Charters School is a high-performing and oversubscribed comprehensive school in Sunningdale (approximately 1700 students on roll, including 360 in the Sixth Form). We consider ourselves to be a school which has its heart in the community and provides our students with a holistic education driven by our core values of Unity Respect Excellence.

We are seeking to appoint an inspirational Non-teaching Deputy Head of Year who is passionate about working with young people.

The role is term time only, plus one week in the holidays - 37 hours per week, Grade 5, 12-17 (depending on experience)- Actual salary for point 12 is £24,620 for point 17 is £26,809 - (FTE £28,402-£30,928)

Our pastoral team plan collaboratively to develop students' self-discipline, embed our values and key character traits and build their understanding of their place in the world around them. Our pastoral care and support ensure students are happy and can thrive in secondary school.

We offer a range of enrichment opportunities beyond the academic curriculum for our students, including trips abroad, rewards to motivate excellence in learning, strong attendance and to build a sense of community in each year group.
