Dental Nurse

Adhere to all legislation & regulation as well as company policies and procedures.

Attend training and practice meetings.

Monitor trainee dental nurse's, ensuring all elements of their apprenticeship are met, liaise with lead nurse / practice manager if any challenges arise

Identify your own training and development needs and complete them as agreed with the lead nurse / practice manager/Principal Dentist.

Support Lead nurse with infection control policies and procedures are up to date at all times. Implementing changes as and when they arise.

Business requirements:

Help with working towards agreed business objectives.

Work with all team members on the marketing and social media processes.

Maintain awareness of new developments and dental techniques, this may involve attending courses and/or training.

Experience in assisting with chair side support.

Experience in all aspects of infection control.

Excellent organisational skills with an ability to multitask.

Outstanding ability to communicate effectively and in a professional manner with patients, staff members and the team as a whole.

Experience in conducting added duties such as compliance, audits and staff training., Communication skills

Licence/Certification:

Salary: £23,000 - £26,000 (dependent on experience and training requirements).

Hours: Part / Full time Monday - Friday up to 37 hours per week,
