Full Job Description

  • Own and develop the S&OP process to balance the demand and supply plans with clear timings and responsibilities

  • Support the sales team and provide direction on promotional activity, timings and distribution

  • Own the logistics for our finished goods movements and storage

  • Report fulfilment and OTIF scores for the business and arrange root cause analysis if it's not 100%

  • Arrange for set up and maintenance of EDI links to our customers

  • Analysis and reporting of logistics costs vs budget

  • Ensure all month-end reconciliations are competed ahead of finance deadlines

  • Lead and develop direct reports enabling them to achieve their potential

    We are looking for an excellent Demand Planning Manager to join our Operations Team on a fixed term basis, covering a period of maternity leave. This role in a rapidly growing business ensures that our customers receive what they order in time and in full. We're looking for someone who is able to work closely with the sales team, supply planners and have the attention to detail to ensure that the plans are being delivered.


  • You should already have experience in an FMCG supply chain, ideally within a scheduling, planning or S&OP function. Being able to prioritise activities with different deliverables, work in a changing environment and communicate well are essential to make this role a success.

    As a leadership role of a small team, it's important that you are able to make time for your team and provide the support and guidance that they might need to be successful too.

    Because this role is covering maternity leave, it is possible that the role could be extended slightly if needed to ensure a smooth handover so some flexibility in the end date would be an advantage.,
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Previous experience in production planning or S&OP ideally within a manufacturing or FMCG environment

  • Previous experience with handling and analysing data in inventory management systems as well as Excel skills
