The role of Duty Supervisor requires the individual to work the 2-2-3 rota which consist of shift pattern 8am-8pm at allocated provisions, there is no remote working, all shifts are required to be at provisions and will be on-duty throughout the entire shift for allocated provisions and their staff teams.

  • Week A - Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat & Sun - 8am-8pm plus stand-by 8pm-8am


  • Week B - Wed & Thurs - 8am-8pm plus stand-by 8pm-8am Hours on Standby: 8PM-8AM ON DAY SHIFT PATTERN (2-2-3) Week A - Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat, Sun Week B - Wed &Thurs 8am-8pm on the 2-2-3 pattern and will be on standby 8pm-8am. The role of stand-by requires the individual to be available for sickness cover or emergency when on standby, an increased hourly rate will be applied should you be required to attend a provision on request from evening on-duty, You must be available to attend a provision within 1hr timeframe, in the event of an emergency or if staff cover is required. On the day shifts that you are working it is recommended that you bring your overnight bag as precautionary.


  • Your Role and Responsibilities:

    To undertake the Day supervisor role at allocated provision ensuring the overall safety, health, and wellbeing of the staff Team & young person's in-situ & provision

  • To Ensure overall check-ins and support to another provision/s within the scheme Work closely with the evening On-duty team and ensure robust handovers are completed at the end of your shift.


  • Promote and actively encourage the delivery of a safe, structured, and nurturing environment


  • .
  • Work within and ensure effective delivery of the policies and procedures for the business.


  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team both within the provision and with external agencies and professionals .


  • Ensure rules and boundaries are in place for all Young Persons within the service, offer support and guidance to staff to maintain these


  • Complete a full comprehensive handover to night on duty staff member coming onto shift handing over the on-duty laptop & phone, to also communicate with the two provisions ensure they have completed the morning checks and handovers


  • Ensure that all administrative requirements for the provisions are maintained in such a way that they are compliant with relevant practices, legislation and adhere to company's policies and procedures.


  • Participate in young person's reviews and other meetings as required for both provisions. Ensure that YP planners are completed in advance, inclusively with YPs and followed robustly by the Team., Undertake an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) through our agency or 3rd Party DBS on update service

    Due to the vulnerability of our young persons a robust vetting process is required for the successful applicants, therefore you must be able to provide the following,_


  • -UK passport/Residence Permit to work in the UK, Provide 2 written references
    -Provide work history for the last 5 years with explanations of any gaps
    -A copy of insurance cover that includes business use, a copy of proof that the vehicle is taxed, has an MOT and is appropriately serviced:
    -Valid UK driving license
