Database Management:

  • Design, install, and maintain robust database systems to ensure high levels of performance and security.

  • Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor database performance, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to optimize database performance.

  • Backup and Recovery: Develop, implement, and manage backup and recovery plans to safeguard data integrity and availability.

  • Security Management: Implement and enforce database security measures to protect sensitive data from unauthorized access and breaches.

  • Data Migration: Plan and execute data migrations, ensuring data integrity and minimal downtime.

  • User Support: Provide support to database users, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.

  • Database Upgrades: Plan and manage database upgrades, patches, and configuration changes.

  • Capacity Planning: Analyze database growth trends and plan for future database capacity requirements.

  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of database configurations, processes, and procedures.

  • Compliance: Ensure database systems comply with relevant data protection regulations and standards.

    We are seeking a skilled and experienced Database Administrator (DBA) with 3-5 years of experience to join our dynamic IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of our databases, ensuring the availability and optimal functioning of our database systems., Experience: 3-5 years of experience as a Database Administrator.

  • - Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

    Technical Skills:
    - Proficiency in SQL and database management systems (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
    - Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
    - Strong understanding of backup and recovery strategies.
    - Knowledge of database security practices.
    - Familiarity with data migration and data integration processes.
    - Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell scripting) is a plus.

    Soft Skills:
    - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    - Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
