Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Information Systems team as a Data Quality Officer. The post will be focused on reviewing data quality reports related to the Trusts digital systems. This will be a pivotal role in ensuring systems run optimally., This post is a crucial post to support the Trust in having confidence in the quality of the information it provides internally and externally. The role will support the Trust in the correcting of data for all areas, and in doing so improve the patient record.

The Officer will work as part of the Information Systems team ensuring data is correctly recorded on the Patient Administration system to enable delivery of timely patient care.

The post-holder will need to exercise initiative and use independent judgement, knowledge and analysis to check details recorded within the patients' journey reflect a true record of events to date. The post-holder will need to have a keen eye for detail and be comprehensive in their investigations.

The post holder is expected to demonstrate the Trust Values and Behaviours and be committed to the Trust's vision of Striving for Excellence.

We are looking for individuals with good attention to detail, proficiency in working from spreadsheets, ability to prioritise workload and working to specified deadlines. The successful candidate will be required to work through various reports as determined by the project requirements and on other data related tasks as required. The candidate will be part of a larger team and their is scope for development.

Experience in data entry and use of Microsoft Office applications is essential.
