Are you passionate about transforming complex data into actionable insights? We're seeking a talented Data Insights Analyst to join our team at AXA Health on a 12 month fixed term contract. You'll play a key role in creating reports and dashboards that are universally understandable and easy to interpret by their intended audience. In this role, you'll utilize your expertise in mathematics, statistics, and advanced data interrogation to spot patterns, trends, and correlations that drive strategic decision-making.
As a Data Insights Analyst, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop visual and interactive analytics solutions, addressing critical business questions and challenges. You'll be part of a dedicated team that applies advanced analytics and AI techniques to unlock valuable insights for operational, managerial, and strategic decision-making.
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, either at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events.
What you'll be doing:

  • Work with stakeholders to define requirements and key business problems to solve

  • Apply advanced programming skills (Python, R) and conduct statistical analysis of large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and draw meaningful conclusions

  • Prepare and effectively communicate insights and recommendations to different senior technical and non-technical audiences

  • Support the creation of reports/dashboards using a range of data sources to tell a visual story and make the information accessible, understandable, and useable by the end user

  • Apply best practice data visualisation, user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) principles in solution design and development

  • Help to combine data sets across multiple data sources

    Excellent analytical skills

  • Strong communication skills

  • Data Science or STEM qualification

  • Experience programming in SQL and Python

  • Practical experience in a data analysis role

  • Demonstrable knowledge of data management theory

  • Agile mind-set and a principle of continuous improvement in working methods
