Full Job Description

These posts are an exciting opportunity to join the Nottingham Clinical Trials Unit (NCTU). The unit is a rapidly growing academic unit within the University of Nottingham that supports clinical trials within the University and local NHS trust., The unit is seeking to recruit two Data Administrators to work within our multidisciplinary team, to coordinate the handling of research data across a number of research projects. Due to a number of research grants recently being funded we are looking to expand and develop our Data Management team so this is an exciting opportunity to join a growing unit.

The ideal candidates should have training or experience of using database systems and knowledge of clinical trial data handling processes.

There are 2 posts available on a full-time basis (36.25 hours per week); however, applications are invited from candidates wanting to work part-time (minimum 29 hours per week). Please indicate on your application if you wish to be considered for this role on a part-time basis. Both positions are offered on a fixed-term contract for a period of 12 months.

Requests for secondment from internal candidates may be considered on the basis that prior agreement has been sought from both your current line manager and the manager of your substantive post, if you are already undertaking a secondment role.

Job share arrangements may also be considered.

This roles can either be fully office-based or open to a hybrid working model with a blended approach of home and office working. Typically, you will work a minimum of 2 - 3 days (pro-rata) per week on campus.
