Full Job Description

  • Completing and inputting customs entries via EDI systems for cargo at UK ports.

  • Ensuring accurate documentation is submitted within designated time frames.

  • Notifying customers promptly upon entry completion, confirming costs, especially regarding Schenker DAN.

  • Identifying and addressing document problems causing customs clearance delays, including potential demurrage costs.

  • Handling Duty and VAT invoices, ensuring compliance with cost control measures.

  • Fulfilling any other duties reasonably requested by your Manager.

    Play a pivotal role in facilitating the smooth movement of cargo through UK ports. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and is well-versed in Import & Export customs procedures and regulations. If you have a keen eye for accuracy and enjoy working with EDI systems, we want to hear from you., Experience in customs clearance and familiarity with the air industry preferred.
