Full Job Description
- Checking purchase orders against supplier order confirmation - ensure the items and prices match
- Create new import quotes, from which a booking in sheet will be formed
- Create, check and update purchase orders
- Communicate with suppliers by email and phone (imports & lead times); Forwarders by email and phone (shipping queries/confirmation); Internal mainly updating between sales & accounts, You will work towards a Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner Apprenticeship and attend National Business College for day release one day per fortnight.
Functional skills in English (if required)., Communication skills, Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Customer care skills, Administrative skills, Number skills, Analytical skills, Team working, Initiative, GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade 4) Essential - training
- qualifications, like an NVQ in a relevant field
