Full Job Description

  • Using computer systems

  • Inputting data/ processing orders

  • Answering calls/ booking appointments

  • Fitting glasses

  • Advising customers on suitability

  • Preparing clinics/ printing forms

  • Recalling patients when appointments are due

  • Filing/ admin duties

  • Maintaining high levels of cleanliness.

  • Understanding confidentiality/ follow GDPR

  • Any other day to day duties as requested by the manager

    Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
    Minimum Wage Rates
  • Working week

  • Monday - Saturday (Saturdays are done via a rota) Monthly shifts to be confirmed between the hours of 9am - 5:15pm 45 minute break, You could reduce your training time, or finish your apprenticeship faster, if you have relevant prior learning or experience. This could be relevant:
