Full Job Description

The Customer Service Administrator (CSA) reports to the IT Support Team Leader and works as part of a team to provide ongoing support to all CAP customers. They will offer support to the wider technology team as they go about tackling a wide array of issues whilst the Customer Service Administrator deals with essential contact, troubleshooting, triage and admin tasks.,

  • Supporting the IT Service Desk personnel on customer issues to achieve resolution within agreed SLA's.

  • Perform IT Service Desk administration tasks. Perform essential contact, troubleshoot and triage on most issues where possible, enabling the wider technology team to effectively progress issues to resolution

  • Producing clear and concise documentation for user training, FAQ's and for on-going support requirements.

  • Ensuring equipment is up to standard, organised and that any resources we loan out are returned when it should be.

  • Assisting in the completion of IT Service Desk initiatives & projects, as required.

  • Willingness to work outside of core hours as maintenance tasks dictate.

  • Ability to develop relationships with in order to serve staff and customers

  • Ability to follow instructions

  • Ability to solve problems, make quick decisions and to work in an organised proactive manner

  • Ability to understand data, situations, technical phrases and complex discussions quickly

  • Ability to work accurately, efficiently and with a high attention to detail Ability to work well as part of a team within the wider Tech department

  • Ability to work well under pressure. Excellent communication and administration skills at all levels Technically minded and adaptable


  • Educational requirements

    GCSE level education, including Maths and English (C or above)

    HND or equivalent vocational training
