Custody Ecosystems Product Manager : Post Trade Settlement Workflow - AVP (UK or US)
The Custody Product organisation is recruiting for a Custody Ecosystems Product Manager to help drive the Post Trade Settlement Workflow strategy as part of the wider Custody Ecosystem/Disruptive Technology remit. Whilst the focus will be on the Post Trade Settlement Workflow, the successful candidate would also assist with other Custody Ecosystems efforts including Account Opening, Inquiry Management, Tax etc. State Street's Custody Product organisation is undergoing an exciting period of transformation and requires an experienced product manager with good subject matter expertise, client lens & industry presence to join the team to help take this business forward.

Function
As a Custody Ecosystems Product Manager you will be part of a small team responsible for leading the engagement with the responsible FinTech(s). FinTechs have been disrupting the Custody landscape in recent years, and State Street is well positioned to take a considered approach having had the opportunity to see the landscape unfold. Primary focus & responsibility will be to help take the strategy from conception through to implementation; identifying external opportunities for partnership, building business cases and then taking through to implementation., As a Custody Ecosystems Product Manager, you will have responsibility for the following:
Building a relationship with the FinTech at all levels from CEO/Founder through to Client Engagement/Support Fostering relationships with STT Operations, IT, Client Management & (other) Product organisations as required Driving the adoption of the platform (internally & externally)
Demonstrating benefit Measuring success Influencing change
Participation at industry events including roundtable and speaker opportunities Being a champion of change & challenging the status-quo to drive internal & external benefit Identifying other FinTechs that can bring value to STT Custody and our Clients Developing business cases to assess value; and drive senior buy-in for those that make sense Working with Procurement, Legal & TPRM on all aspects of the engagement as required

Excellent programme management skills Strong PowerPoint skills is key Detail oriented - problem solver Intellectually curious Independent, self-motivated and a team player with strong influencing skills Positive, can-do approach and champion of change Effective communicator at senior levels both internally & externally Comfortable working in a demanding delivery focused environment, Held at least one role within Settlements Operations Proven track record in influencing change and driving large programmes of effort Strong knowledge of Global Custody business preferred, particularly Settlements Prior experience working in Product, Operations and/or Technology roles Experience working with institutional investor client base

LOCATION London Canary Wharf, in office four days a week or State Street offices Boston four days a week.
