Curriculum Leader of Design & Technology

Chipping Sodbury School requires a dynamic, enthusiastic and well-qualified Curriculum Leader of Design & Technology, with a D&T specialism in Textiles and/or Food & Nutrition. The ability to teach up to and including Key Stage 5 is desirable.

The school has superb accommodation and the Design and Technology Faculty is housed in a range of specialist rooms, all with high quality equipment including a dedicated ICT room. The faculty has a history of excellent examination results and all subjects are very popular with students.

The successful candidate will be committed to developing learning strategies which challenge and interest all of our students and will have the drive and determination to move us closer to our ultimate goal of becoming an 'outstanding' school. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to build upon the current success and have the autonomy to implement their vision and move the provision to the next stage of development. This is an exciting time to take on this role and develop teaching and learning across the team through Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.
