Culinary Director

We play an important part in students' learning and development, and we are looking for someone who shares our passion about ensuring that our future generations are provided with nutritious and delicious food, while also inspiring them to lead a healthier lifestyle.The Culinary Director is responsible for leading the design of company standards for culinary quality and innovation, as well as frameworks for recipe and menu development that ensure optimised financial performance, and for rolling out these standards throughout the business. You will also provide direct management to a team of Development Chefs and Nutritionists as well as managing the company's Allergen and Food Safety systems and providing culinary sales support with both food and presentations.

You will:-

• have previous experience in a senior food development role, ideally within the education sector.


• have great communication skills across all levels of the business.


• have experience of delivering on-trend ideas and innovations to our units, ensuring these are linked to sustainability and nutrition.


• be a hands-on leader with the ability to motivate and develop your team.


• have a proven track record in project management to the highest standards.


• be a strategic and creative thinker, with the ability to thrive under pressure.


• display a natural passion for food and customer service.


• have exceptional communication, presentation and organisational skills.
