Full Job Description

The CT Band 6 Radiographer position is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic team within a busy CT department. Southmead Hospital is a regional Trauma Centre and has Regional specialties including Neurosurgery and Urology. North Bristol Trust has four CT scanners on the main hospital site and two located at a community site.

Potential candidates must have at least one years' experience of working within the CT modality and have at least 2 years of post-qualifying experience. This is not a CT training post. The successful candidate will be expected to have enough CT experience to be able to take an active role in the department after a short period of departmental orientation. You will also take an active role in the departmental shift system and out of hour's roster including night duties., We are looking for enthusiastic hardworking individuals with a `can do` attitude to support the CT team. The successful candidates will have excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills, and will be able to perform a wide range of CT examinations and have experience in inpatient, outpatient and Emergency department scanning. Evidence of CPD required. Both part time and full time applications will be considered.
