Working in our UK support functions you'll play a key part in helping our customer facing colleagues deliver exceptional standards of customer service and patient care. As the Credit Control Team Leader, you'll manage the Credit control team ensuring debt in collected in a timely manner and kept to a minimum.

How you'll help us make health happen:

  • Deliver a high-quality service to both internal and external customers both themselves and through their teams.

  • Maximise efficiencies in end-to-end accounts receivable processing through the implementation of process improvements, including financial control, reporting and cost.

  • Delivery against these SLA's and other objectives. Managing appropriately where these cannot be met.

  • To be always responsible for the team's compliance with FSA and Group requirements.

  • Identifying resource requirements and risks.

  • Maintaining the integrity of financial data.

  • Overall accountability for the development and succession planning for all team members.

  • To manage and develop direct reports including one-to-ones, performance management, objective setting, and coaching & feedback.

  • Responsible for authorisation of write On's /write offs within agreed limits.

  • Responsible for authorisation of refunds within agreed limits.

  • Production of weekly and monthly status reports

  • Ensure all processes and procedures are documented /maintained.

  • Ensure fair and equitable allocation of portfolios.

  • Proactive collection of debt through various techniques.

  • Ensure all aged debt is appropriately managed.

  • Deputise for the Credit Control Manager in their absence.

    Must be analytically and numerically minded

  • Excellent and proven communication, influencing skills at all levels

  • Intermediate excel Skills

  • A skilled manager with well-developed coaching, mentoring, and training skills

  • Ability to identify and act on opportunities for improvements in process, controls, and reporting.

  • Highly adaptable with a proven record of accomplishment of meeting stretching and tight deadlines
