Full Job Description

As a Credit Control Assistant at Tees some of your duties would include:

  • Responding quickly and completely to both client and internal queries

  • Sending out statements and copy invoices to clients when required

  • Chasing overdue payments in accordance with the credit control policy

  • Facilitate regular meetings with Fee Earners as appropriate, to ensure all relevant debts are managed effectively

  • Sending out relevant documentation to clients and maintaining accurate records of activity

  • Taking and processing credit card payments from clients

  • Preparing files for transfer to debt recovery

  • Using excel and word to a proficient standard to undertake daily tasks

    As part of our busy, collaborative and experienced Accounts team you will be an integral part of our business, ensuring accuracy and timely support to our legal and professional services teams. Experience in a similar role and environment will be advantageous but is not a pre-requisite for this position as full training will be provided.

    This role is best suited to candidates that have an aptitude for numbers, a keen eye for detail and are committed to learning and developing their skill set as part of an experienced team.

    This position is being offered as a full-time role, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

    The ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment is required. This varied role will involve some travel to other offices on a monthly basis.
