Full Job Description

Serco have an exciting opportunity to join their team as Course Co-ordinator at the IFTC in Darlington.
You'll ensure, through close liaison with the Senior Course Co-ordinator and Head of Customer Experience, that a comprehensive and effective course management system exists and is maintained for all IFTC courses. In particular that all administrative details are completed accordingly. You will also be responsible for training colleagues in the administration team as requested by the Senior Course Co-ordinator and other members of the SMT to ensure sufficient knowledge and skills exist in the business to cover periods of absence., Provide non-technical information on all aspects of courses, co-ordinate bookings by telephone, email and letter ensuring all correspondence is sent to customers in a timely and efficient manner
Producing certificates for issue to students on completion of courses
Work alongside external bodies, ensuring any associated information is stored and issued correctly
Ensure all administrative details are completed and course files maintained as required
Ensure that appropriate course materials including training notes and course content are available for courses prior to their commencement
Maintain and update the online system Success Factors to ensure the delegates receive the relevant pre-course training material and assessments
Liaise with Rely on Nutec and other client/customers for efficient operation of offshore and industrial courses
General office support
Support the Business Manager and Bookings team in sales and business development, proactively contacting customers

GCSE standard of Education including English at Grade C or above Previous administration experience Experience of dealing with the public face to face Communication and organisational skills Ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines
