Full Job Description

The SAP IBP application specialist oversees support of 2 IBP templates and new deployments of same across sites in Amcor Flexibles EMEA and Amcor Special Cartons and is ensuring consistent improvements of existing target system(s) including implementation of new functionality across such systems.
The role is a combination of Business Consulting and Solution Delivery and will ensure value at stake is delivered as a #1 project outcome.
Key Job Accountabilities
SAP IBP Template's maintenance and evolutions

  • Provide support, up to L3, for corrections to issues raised by Helpdesk or Demand Managers.

  • Schedule and monitor periodic jobs in the planning and forecast cycle

  • Manage SAP IBP quarterly upgrades

  • Technology watching: Evaluate new features of SAP IBP tools in the domain of responsibility to give advice to Business Operations and contribute to the evolutions of the SAP IBP templates under the responsibility of Amcor Global IT IBP Team

  • Process key-user requests or issues following the Amcor governance process: specification of new developments or customizing, update or proposal of user working instruction, guidelines on the day-to-day use of the solution, training of key users

  • Create transport requests in development and follow the issue till the closing of the request from the user.

  • Customizing and program specification

  • Animate information sharing across sites to take advantages of the SAP IBP usage to avoid duplicated development and study


  • Methodological compliance
  • Ensures project methodology (industrial approach) is understood, applied, and optimised continuously

  • Continuous improvement of the roll-out kit for own domain

  • Introduce / reinforce standardised work i.e. develop and deploy standard processes, KPIs, governance

  • Complex business environment i.e. with regular changes to the scope (Mergers & Acquisitions), different stakeholder goals, global and local approaches

  • Multi-tasking and setting priorities i.e. ensuring the priorities are aligned and respected across the BU

  • 3rd Party Helpdesk/Supplier

    5+ years of SAP IBP Demand Planning and S&OP module experience, including CPI-DS and APO (min. 5 years).

  • Familiarity with SAP IBP PLM module is advantageous.

  • 3+ years of experience in SAP PP and MM modules. Active participation in multiple SAP IBP implementations across industries.

  • 5+ years of IT experience, including Project Management; some management experience preferred.

  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

  • Fluent in English; proficiency in a 2nd language (Spanish, French, German, or Polish) is a plus.

  • Solid understanding of industrial site processes.

  • Experienced in international SAP IBP projects, office tools, and planning PC tools.

  • Expertise in requirements modeling, software development methods, metrics, user interface design principles, and formalizing functional specifications.

  • Knowledgeable in training needs analysis methodologies and testing processes.

  • 20% Business Travel
