Full Job Description

We are looking for a front of house conveyancing secretary/receptionist to join our small, but very busy solicitors. We are a local business that has been in Burton on Trent for many years, and so we are looking for a friendly, and outgoing person to join us.   • Prepare correspondence and legal documents via email and letters

  • Liaise with clients either face to face or over the telephone

  • Book and manage client appointments

  • Paperwork including filing, storage and retrieval legal documents

  • Liaise with the finance department to create client bills

  • Take client payments

  • General administrative support to the solicitors and the wider team

    Communication - verbal and written

  • Excellent customer service

  • Have an eye for attention to detail

  • Work at a fast pace and to tight deadlines

  • Able to work under pressure

  • Be highly organised and able to multi-task

  • Awareness of Data Protection and GDPR

  • Microsoft Office, Clerical/Administrator: 1 year (preferred)

  • Pay: £16,000.00-£21,000.00 per year
