Full Job Description

We now have an exciting opportunity for a convenience store supervisor to join Aparthotel Birmingham

As a convenience store supervisor, you will be required to master the art of versatility and inject some energy whilst completing a variety of duties. The main duties expected within the role are:


  • Providing a knowledgeable and seamless customer experience for all customers that enter the store.
  • Provide exceptional customer service at all times.

  • Oversee the daily operations of the food-to-go section within the store.

  • Assist the manager with managing the team to ensure food quality and safety.

  • Oversee the food preparation and presentation meet the store's standards.

  • Comply with all health and safety regulations.

  • Continuously maintaining clean and tidy stock standards on shop floor for customers at all times.

  • Process transactions accurately using the cash register.

  • Stock shelves and ensure products are properly displayed

  • Assist with inventory management and restocking

  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets

  • To be welcoming and approachable to all guests visiting the hotel and the store.

  • Assist with hotel security. Ensure any issues effectively communicated to the Duty Manager as soon as possible.

  • Understanding your areas of responsibility, ensuring everything runs effectively in line with brand specification.

  • Looking professional, being punctual, polite, courteous, and helpful to guests and colleagues at all times.

  • Be fully knowledgeable with services and promotions offered by the hotel and the store.
