We have some exciting opportunities for content designers to join us and develop their skills across our user-centred products, projects and delivery teams.

About the role

Content Designers are skilled at creating content using data, by exploring user needs, managing great relationships with stakeholders, and working with tech teams in a varied and multidisciplinary environment. This role is focused on writing product content and user experience-defined copy.

You'll be joining an award-winning team dedicated to developing and maintaining user-centred product and services . This will help meet the needs of many of our user groups - from applying to a course, to finding research collaborations and much more.

We have several positions available.

Your responsibilities

You'll need to:

work closely with user researchers, interaction and service designers, product managers, other content designers and marketing teams to create and apply a strong and consistent approach to all our products
build good relationships with stakeholder groups from across the organisation
support and enable other content designers to create user-centred content using data and evidence, ensuring we're always using the right solution at the right time and in the best format
work closely with other tech and UX disciplines to understand how content can work in the best possible way for users across digital products and services
Your skills and experience

You'll need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience. It's okay if you don't have everything in this list. We're looking for people who are a good fit and willing to learn.

Experienced in researching, designing and testing content as part of agile, multidisciplinary teams.

Passionate about accessibility and inclusion.
Used to working with analytics and content metrics such as readability, qualitative research, digital analytics, to help you solve problems pragmatically.
Curious about technology with a desire to learn.
Used to working collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to solve user problems.
Focused on the real needs of many different users.
Working autonomously while managing tight deadlines under pressure.
