Full Job Description

We are looking for a Compliance Supervisor to join our busy team at our Four Ashes site, where you will work to fully support Transport and Operations from a Legal and Policy compliance perspective providing detailed reporting to both areas and Senior Management, whilst supporting continuous improvement across the network.,

  • Liaising and managing service providers to book all scheduled and non scheduled work to ensure compliance of the fleet including; Safety Inspections, Chassis Inspections, Tacho, MOT, Tank Tests and LOLER

  • Ensure all defect reports are actioned and filed on completion

  • Coordination of breakdown & recovery

  • Administering fleet compliance system (TRANMAN)

  • Be the first point of contact for any compliance issues, an ability to think on your feet is essential

  • Monitoring and maintaining site and fleet cleanliness by delegation

  • Maintaining drivers competence through the effective management of Drivers Training Matrix

  • Carry out periodic checks of driving licence, ADR certificate, CPC card checks.

  • To carry out any other reasonable duties as instructed by the Operations Manager

  • Out of hours duty mobile cover as required after a period of training

    Have previous experience of a working within the fleet management

  • Be able to confidently communicate with drivers

  • Be detail oriented, technically minded and able to work individually

  • Transport Manager Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)

  • Previous experience of working within the waste industry
