Full Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Corporate Legal, you will be responsible for implementing, managing and delivering our global compliance, risk & ESG programs, and ensuring our business operations comply with legal and regulatory obligations. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator and team player, with in-depth knowledge of the latest compliance and ESG regulations and business requirements.,

  • Deliver practical and timely compliance support to the business. Continuously develop, refine, and be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Company's compliance and ESG programs including relevant internal and external reporting obligations, policies, procedures, standards, and training materials.

  • Actively lead and manage resolution of anti-corruption and sanction/export control related inquiries

  • Responsible for sanction screening and third-party onboarding processes, providing appropriate reviews of new customers and third parties

  • Responsible for anti-corruption tools such as the Company's conflicts of interest register and gifts & entertainment repository, mitigating and escalating issues as appropriate

  • Performing high quality AML/KYC reviews in line with applicable laws and regulations.

  • Regularly review and update, as needed, the Company's suite of compliance tools, policies and operations

  • Contribute to regular compliance & ESG communications on behalf of the company and integrating the compliance and ESG programs into newly acquired businesses

  • Continually review and evaluate present and future regulatory challenges and changes in the compliance and ESG spaces, and their real world impact on a global organization

  • Responsible for the Company's risk management program in collaboration with other internal teams

  • Continually assess evolving ESG legislation, particularly in the UK, EU, and the U.S., and implement best practices to ensure compliance with this changing regulatory landscape

  • Bachelor's degree in law, business administration, or relevant field.

  • Minimum 5+ years of compliance experience with a multinational organization with an in-depth knowledge of ESG programs, and particularly the legal and regulatory landscape in the environmental space in the UK, EU, and US, and sanctions issues impacting global organizations. Additional compliance experience, including experience with anti-corruption, anti-bribery, export controls, compliance training, internal investigations, and anti-money laundering, strongly preferred but experience in all of these areas is not required.

  • Ability to work collaboratively to drive the Company's compliance and ESG programs and priorities

  • Proactive, hands on, data driven, and ability to work independently

  • A passion for compliance & ESG

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
