Full Job Description

We are looking for a highly organised Compliance & Contracts Associate to manage the operations of our legal team, including contract and records compliance, and administration, process management, and document production. This role places you at the centre of an innovative legal team, with daily exposure to business operations and teams across one of the UK's leading AI companies. You will be responsible for developing and owning processes across Faculty's legal and governance work, ensuring efficiency and compliance and working closely with your team members in the legal team. You will also increasingly contribute to contract and document drafting and will be provided with training and mentoring to increase your capabilities.   • Administering complete and accessible records of all Faculty's contracting activity, including updating contract management software (Ironclad) and managing internal storage systems (Google Drive).

  • Managing responses to legal support requests, including triaging inbound queries, allocating requests, and workflow management.

  • Managing NDAs and simple contracts with support from the Legal Team where required.

  • Support the legal team with administration and project management tasks.

  • Lead ad hoc projects to improve operations, organisation, and efficiency.

  • Maintain and manage data privacy and other governance records and processes, including record-keeping, incident reports, and managing Article 30 requirements.

  • Drafting and or negotiating contracts, according to experience.

    Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

  • Experience in legal contracts, compliance management, GDPR, legal operations.

  • Sharp, agile, and curious mind, with an ability and desire to learn fast and for personal and professional development.

  • Strategic thinker who enjoys working in ambiguous environments, juggling multiple priorities

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • High standards of integrity and discretion.

  • Positive attitude, self-motivated, and works well under pressure.

  • Team player who can operate effectively within a small, close-knit team.

  • Ability to build good relationships and work effectively across Faculty's business and externally.

  • High aptitude for technology and software products, with training provided for tools like Ironclad.

  • Experience supporting public procurement bid documentation.

  • Managing data incident responses, and data subject access requests.
