Full Job Description

The Women and Children's division are currently seeking a Triage Co-ordinator to join the team on a fixed-term, part-time basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the provision of exceptional patient care and ensuring a seamless patient pathway experience.

They will assist with providing support daily to the Gynaecology & Paediatric teams, supporting patients, clinical staff, and the Trust through the triage process of referrals., 1. Serve as the primary point of contact for patients throughout their hospital attendances within the designated care pathway.
2. Ensure high levels of patient care and satisfaction by being accessible, customer-focused, and knowledgeable in addressing patient inquiries and concerns.
3. Collaborate effectively with a multi-disciplinary team to provide administrative support and proactively manage patient pathways.
4. Coordinate appointments in a timely manner and facilitate the smooth progression of departmental treatments or diagnostics.
5. Maintain high standards of patient and clinician satisfaction by accurately executing the responsibilities of the role within specified timescales.
