Full Job Description

  • Apply best practices in advertising and communications, behaviour change, and brand strategy.

  • Work with a media strategist to develop media & dissemination strategies and plans.

  • Work with creative/production staff and partners to ensure creative products and solutions adhere to strategic frameworks in pursuit of effectively delivering the client's objectives.

  • Partner with the internal research team and external suppliers to gain an understanding of client problem sets across societal, security, political and cultural landscapes. This includes developing a working knowledge of different cultures and religious practices.

  • Partner with the internal research team and external suppliers to build a firm understanding of multiple target audiences' knowledge, attitudes and behaviours.

  • Develop a firm understanding of Measures of Performance and Effect and factor these into strategy and plans. To regularly utilise and, where required, report on these measures to the Agency and clients.

  • Share knowledge and experience in a formal and informal way that grows the collective knowledge of the Agency.

  • Assist various related activities in the day-to-day running of the business including client information requests, new business strategies and other ad-hoc requirements.

  • Direct experience of working on communications plans, moving from research and insight through to delivery

  • A knowledge of fundamental techniques, tools and practices of a communications strategist.

  • Ability to develop communications strategies and frameworks.

  • Ability to convey complex ideas in contextually relevant and applicable ways for various target audiences (e.g. creative briefs, client presentation).

  • Ability to develop logical theories of change founded in research and understanding.

  • Ability to quickly analyse and process large volumes of data and insight from multiple sources.

  • Strong and up-to-date understanding of digital and traditional media channels and how best to use them to deliver a communications campaign.

  • Knowledge of multiple forms of research - both in the development of strategy and the subsequent reporting of it.

  • Ability to craft and present simple solutions to highly complex problems (as oral, written and presentation).

  • Practical understanding of commercial operations.

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills (English).

  • Proficient in all components of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Powerpoint and Excel).

  • Anticipation of challenges and show initiative.

  • Ability to efficiently manage multiple projects at any one time

  • Exceptional time management skills

  • Ability to work confidently and respectfully within a cross-cultural team with diverse opinions and backgrounds.

    We are currently looking for a Strategist to join one of M&C Saatchi Group's specialist divisions. This division partners with governments, civil society, foundations, academia, and the private sector, to work on the critical issues of our time, including the climate emergency, national security, social justice, conflict prevention, and sustainable development. We provide a fully integrated, end to end service, combining multi-discipline communications teams with subject matter experts, across the world. Our work is domestic and global, often affecting the most vulnerable in society, with international activity orientated towards conflict affected or developing countries.


  • We're looking for a mid-level strategist who is interested in working on some of the most meaningful, exciting and challenging communications tasks in the Middle East.

    If you're obsessed with understanding different cultures, with human psychology and behavioural change and never put down your phone/books when it comes to staying up to date on geopolitics, get in touch! Languages would be a plus, particularly Arabic.

    You will be working with senior and junior strategists to help build and run communication strategies from insight to delivery while working with one of the smartest and most engaged agencies in the business.

    This role requires you:
  • To work with Senior Strategist to develop strategic communications solutions to change knowledge, attitudes and behaviours in target audience groups across the world.

  • To support in the operationalisation of developed strategies into effective, and well planned, communications campaigns and products.

  • To leverage best practice media, marketing and brand communications approaches to optimise project effectiveness and performance.
