Full Job Description

The Role will help execute and co-ordinate the media buying and strategy across the suite of Nexus products. The focus of this role is to establish partnerships with media suppliers.

We strive to buy the most cost effective and best performing inventory for each of our buying businesses, working closely with our media suppliers and the rest of the Investment team to achieve these goals.

Media supply for our products will be operated across multiple ad server/SSP technologies for facilitating media transactions to our buying businesses which operate across our preferred supply side partners.

Our buying business operate different models to accommodate for the unique requirements of our advertising clients - you will be required to problem solve and program manage the media execution to align to the GroupM buying businesses' measurements of success.

The Executive will be responsible for building relationships both internally and externally and have a strong interest in commercial and media buying.

The role supports and interlinks into multiple functions in the media team and across GroupM buying units across business development, trading, data analystics and commercial operations.

The role will provide exposure to Video, Audio and Display and the ability to work across a range of Group M Nexus products including Finecast and Xaxis.

Responsibilities

  • Support the manager and associate director with day-day publisher relationships - be the key point of contact for day-to-day supply queries

  • Process media bookings through internal systems (Radia/ PRISMA)

  • Management of creative approval process

  • Follow the Group M partnerships finance processes to ensure accurate tracking of delivery, reconciliations, and billings

  • Tracking of supply delivery, quality, and platform controls (caps)

  • Provide reporting updates to the wider team that can be used in internal meetings

  • Provide updates on media landscape news and opportunities with new and potential supply partners

  • Attend and contribute to supply partner meetings

  • Challenge external partners on supply quality, new opportunities and insights

  • Provide reporting to help support external meetings with suppliers in monthly, quarterly and yearly reviews

  • Ensure regular communication with our partners in regards to bookings, reconciliations and deal tracking

  • Ensure we setup new media partnerships that provide the best quality and highest performing inventory from all suppliers

  • Building strong relationships with media suppliers through regular meetings, comms and attending relevant events and meetings

  • Support the Manager as the point of contact for our GPS products

  • Attend relevant Finecast/ Xaxis meetings related to supply source management

  • Support the onboarding of new suppliers by gathering key audience insights, programming, device information

  • Involved in monthly evaluation process of all suppliers, working with media account management and analyst team where we plan for future month investment

  • Ensuring that we are tracking and using all owed value across the year
