Commercial Planning Analyst

We have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Planning Analyst to join our Commercial Planning team here at Domestic & General. Reporting to the Commercial Planning Manager you will help in providing detailed analysis to deliver the best results for the business.

As a Commercial Planning Analyst, it will require strong technical skills to analyse all relevant sectors and markets within Domestic & General. A numerate, analytical individual who can support the Commercial Planning team in achieving their key deliverables

Key role responsibilities:

• Support and assist in the production of new management information reporting templates for best practise


• Working with the Head of Commercial Planning Manager to analyse performance of key campaigns and marketing activity


• Help and develop new product propositions


• Responsible for providing Weightings/Daily reports


• Analyse and support innovative opportunities to support business plans


• Produce and analyse KPI's


• Assist with the production of sales & marketing forecasts


• Collaborate with key stakeholders across D&G
  
  Technically competent on Excel and PowerPoint


• Analytical Skills


• Attention to detail essential


• Ability to build effective relationships across all levels and business functions


• Strong analytical and numerical skills


• Good business and commercial awareness


• Capable of understanding and applying customer insights


Desirable:

• Previous experience in an Analytical or Marketing Background


• Having good solid Market, Product, Financial & Operational Awareness
