Commercial and Exports Control Administrator

What will you be doing?

This engaging opportunity reports to the Commercial Manager and will be responsible for supporting the Commercial department to ensure that the day to day and project focused administrative tasks are completed within agreed timeframes and to the highest quality. This role will play a critical function in supporting the success and growth of our business and the Commercial and Export Control team.,

• Help maintain the DTC Commercial documents and templates library.


• Support the Commercial Manager and Commercial Director as required.


• Drafting of standard form contracts including NDAs.


• Management of Sales Channel applications and agreements.


• Support due diligence activities for new customers and intermediaries.


• Support Export Control compliance and the Shipping function through the application of regular checks and approvals.


• Assist with the preparation of Export Licence applications and related documentation.


• Assist with internal and external commercial and export related queries.


• Help prepare regular and / or ad hoc reports on commercial matters.


• Apply the current policies (as advised by the DTC board from time to time) to all transactions.
  
  To be successful in your application within our growing and engaged team in Whiteley, you will have demonstrated administrative experience (ideally within a commercial or export environment) and be a proactive and self-motivated team player, with an ability to take the initiative to resolve issues and complete tasks efficiently. Relevant qualifications and/or a desire to study within a commercial environment would be highly regarded as would exposure to UK export control regulations.


Attention to detail is essential, along with good English language and numerical skills and the ability to communicate at all levels, both internally to DTC and externally to customers, suppliers and government officials.
