Full Job Description

As a self-employed Commercial Executive at MBL/ Diamond Logistics Manchester North, you'll play a pivotal role in driving new business opportunities for our thriving logistics company. Your primary focus will be on building relationships and securing meetings with potential clients. You'll excel in lead generation, identifying both local and national commercial prospects within the multi-carrier, same-day, and fulfilment market. Utilising various proactive methods such as outbound calls, emails, marketing campaigns, LinkedIn, and social media, you'll engage with prospects and effectively overcome objections. Your support will extend to the commercial team as needed, ensuring a seamless transition of clients to the operations team while adhering to the highest standards of client experience.,

  • Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities across all services.

  • Revenue Creation: Drive revenue through effective client acquisition strategies.

  • Proposal Creation: Develop compelling proposals tailored to client needs.

  • Supporting Commercial Team: Provide assistance to the commercial team as required.

  • Sales Reporting: Deliver weekly sales reports and monthly board reports encompassing sales activity, CRM pipeline, hot leads, ROI on lead generation streams, new clients, trading amounts, non-traders, and more.

  • Cold Calling and Canvassing: Proactively engage in cold calling and canvassing to secure leads and appointments. Experience in cold calling is required.

  • Client Experience: Ensure adherence to the client experience standards for all services with each client.

  • Administration: Maintain up-to-date and well-organised administration records.

  • Trial and Evaluation: Test and evaluate new marketing and sales methodologies.

  • Company Policies: Adhere to all company policies, ensuring MBL/Diamond standards are consistently met.
