Full Job Description
- Programming and setting a variety of multiple CNC lathes using FANUC controls
- Some CNC operating may be required
- Ensure high-quality output and adherence to specifications with the ability to work from drawings and samples
- Quality control and able to monitor components produced using a digital vernier calliper along with thread gauges
- Use of automatic bandsaw and other general workshop duties where deemed appropriate
- Working alongside Production Manager and collaboratively organising job schedule
Due to continued growth, IHP have a position opening for an CNC Lathe Programmer/Machinist. The ideal candidate will have experience in FANUC controlled CNC Machines who will fit in well with our friendly and hardworking team. This is an excellent opportunity for the candidate to join a stable and growing company who offer opportunities for personal growth and development., FANUC programming is essential - Operating / setting / and simple programming experience
- MIYANO experience is preferable
- Bar feed experience preferable
- CAD experience not essential, but could been seen to be advantageous
- Forklift license preferable
- All programs are stored in imperial and the candidate must be able to understand how to convert/differentiate between imperial and metric
- Computer literate
23 days holidays, rising to 25 after 12 months service, plus bank holidays - Entry to bonus scheme once passed probation period
