CNC General Operator

We require an Operator to work in the CNC Miscellaneous area. The main duties may include operating machinery, setting up fixtures and jigs for milling and drilling, sawing, deburring, using a band saw and general bench work. You will be responsible for producing parts of good quality, whilst ensuring maximum targets are met. Attention to detail is important for this role along with a basic knowledge of maths.

Previous experience of working in a factory environment is desirable although full training will be given.

H V Wooding Ltd has been established in Hythe, Kent for over 50 years. Our core skills are in the manufacture of metal pressings, electrical busbars and CNC machining, supplying some of Europe's largest manufacturers.

Hours of work are 39 hours per week - Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm (with ½ hour unpaid lunches and 10-minute paid morning break) and Friday 8am to 1pm. This will initially be a 3-month contract.
