Full Job Description

Duties and responsibilities for the role include but are not limited to: Providing general healthcare to all registered patients during normal practice hours. Maximising the levels of health, wellbeing and employability of Service personnel to ensure the needs of the single Services are met. Undertaking mandatory medical examinations and provide appropriate occupational healthcare and advice, and all supporting administrative duties. Supervising the management of communicable diseases, including monitoring and reporting through single Service chains.

Representing the Primary Medical Officer (PMO)/ Senior Medical Officer (SMO) on Medical Practice related issues where necessary, including participation in unit health committees where appropriate.
