CLM Lead

Grade: Senior Manager

We are seeking an experienced Contract Lifecycle Management ("CLM") specialist to support of our legal managed services business. 

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in working with our client facing teams in architecting and configuring CLM systems and other technologies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and adherence to best practices.

style="font-family:Aptos,sans-serif">The candidate should have experience preparing business requirements documentation, leading design workshops, coordinating offshore teams in the execution of the build and configuration of technology solutions and have a sound understanding of industry best practice.

Ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate experience in working with commonly used CLM technologies. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and configuration of CLM systems ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices.
  • style="font-family:Aptos,sans-serif">Actively manage on-shore and off-shore resources who will be involved in the configuration and testing.
  • Work with our legal subject matter experts to develop and implement standardised templates, clauses, and document management processes considering any client specific requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across KPMG including legal, IT, risk and other stakeholders, to gather requirements, define workflows, and ensure systems integrate seamlessly within a wider eco-system of technology solutions.
  • Work closely with clients and client engagement teams in the deployment of service offerings in collaboration with
    KPMG's senior stakeholders.
  • Oversee the configuration of system settings, user roles, access controls, and approval workflows to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to other teams on the effective utilisation of the CLM system, including training and knowledge transfer.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve functionalities, performance, and usability based on user feedback and evolving business needs.
  • Work closely with a wider team of solution owners, architects, engineers
    and legal technologists to ensure alignment with KPMG's broader global technology roadmaps, strategy and integrations.
  • Ensure quality assurance and testing processes are developed, deployed and continuously improved and managed.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies related to contract management and legal technology.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and communicate effectively with senior leadership.

    • A minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in configuring and implementing Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems or related legal technology solutions.
    • Experiencing of working in a "Big Four" or large consulting practice is preferable but not essential.
    • Strong understanding of contract management processes, including drafting, negotiation, execution, and post-execution management.
    • Expert in configuring and

    • customising CLM systems, with experience in workflows, templates, and automation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing
    priorities and requirements including being able to work both autonomously and as part of the wider team.
  • Keen attention to detail and a commitment to quality and accuracy.
  • International experience is preferred but not essential.
