Full Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and meticulous Cleaning Operative to join our dedicated team working at City Hall.

As a key member of our cleaning staff, you will play a vital role in maintaining an clean environment for our clients and employees.

In this crucial role, you will be responsible for maintaining the condition of meeting rooms and office areas through thorough cleaning activities. Your duties will include dusting, vacuuming, wiping surfaces, and emptying bins, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for our clients and employees.

To succeed in this position, you must possess a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic. Experience in the cleaning industry is preferred, but training will be provided. Familiarity with health and safety regulations and the effective use of cleaning equipment and products is an advantage.

We are looking for a team player who can work independently and follow schedules and deadlines efficiently. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for reporting any concerns or issues to the management team accurately.

We are looking for an individual who is flexible to carry out paid additional duties/hours at short notice for overtime.
