Cleaner

Intercity take pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our colleagues and visitors and are currently seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented cleaner to join our team to ensure our Birmingham office is a clean and hygienic environment to operate in on a day-to-day basis. You will work Monday - Friday 7AM - 9AM and 4PM - 7PM.
As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for:

• Cleaning of all worktop surfaces, including keyboards, chair handles and legs and light switches.



• Cleaning of the staff room including kitchen / toilets and ensuring a tidy and clean event and meeting room spaces.



• Hoovering, mopping, cleaning of the inside of windows.



• Emptying of bins in communal areas/toilets



• General cleaning of the premises including the data centre and car park area as requested/scheduled.



• Cleaning of pool vehicles.



• Follow the cleaning schedule to complete daily, weekly and additional tasks which are checked weekly.



• Be able to work overtime if required, with prior notice to cover events.



• Report faults or Issues to line manager during normal activity.



• Adhere to company policies and procedures as outlined, including H&S.
  
  Previous experience of cleaning within an office environment.



• Knowledge of using chemicals and the use of PPE



• Handling and storing of chemicals used for cleaning.



• Manual handling.



• General cleaning of an office environment.
